Smart Move RE is a woman-owned independent real estate agency based in Lyons, CO, and was founded by Patricia McGrane.  Patricia is a Colorado licensed real estate Broker & has completed well over $117M in transactions to date.  She is a Zillow Premier Agent and has a 5-Star rating.  She also holds the the Nationally recognized Resort and Second Home Property Specialist Certification.  She made Colorado her home because she loves  mountains and mountain sports of every kind.  She is an Ironman, wife, mom, and former health care provider.

I began buying & selling real estate as an investor over twenty years ago. Having

done multiple home flips and remodels, I learned hands-on design, decorating,

and remodeling skills.

 My physical therapy and healthcare background provided me the opportunity to work with patients from diverse backgrounds and medical needs. I developed strong relationships with my patients and learned theincredible value of listening, genuine caring, and true compassion for the needs of others. These wonderful lessons learned became the core values of Smart Move Real Estate, and provide the tools I need to navigate my clients through the emotional stress of a real estate transaction.

As an advocate for community involvement and supporting local business, my affiliations and partnerships

include: The Colorado Women’s Business Alliance, the Longmont Historical Society, the St. Vrain Creek Coalition, Water for People, and Yoga Alliance (200 hr. RYT). Further, I hold a Nationally recognized certification as a resort and second home property specialist (RSPS) through the National Association of Realtors. 

I am an expert in mountain properties and all of their quirks and issues. I manage both long-term rentals in Boulder and a vacation rental in Winter Park, Colorado. 

As a lifelong athlete, I am collaborative and competitive. As a lifelong athlete and having over 150 triathlons, marathons, 10K's, 5K's, and cycling races under my belt,  winning and losing have

taught me how to keep working and pushing for goals. The skills I have learned as a competitive athlete make

me the best teammate for you in every real estate transaction.

I am passionate about getting outside & spending time with friends and family whenever possible!
